Speaker of Parliamentary Assembly of North Macedonia Afrim Gashi arrived in Azerbaijan on an official visit on June 17, the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) told APA.
At Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the guest was welcomed by the Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis, Rafael Huseynov, the head of the Azerbaijan-North Macedonia inter-parliamentary working group Fazil Mustafa, Azerbaijan's ambassador to Serbia Kamil Khasiev, and other officials.
As part of his visit to the country, Speaker Afrim Gashi will hold a series of meetings with state officials, and in addition, will participate in the events of the 65th plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC PA).
