U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance in an interview with Fox News has described American businessman Elon Musk’s attempts to create a political party as a “big mistake,”, APA reports.
He noted that after working with Donald Trump’s administration, Musk can no longer position himself on a middle ground between Republicans and Democrats.
“I think it would be a big mistake for Elon Musk to continue his attempts to create a third party. My argument is that, whether he likes it or not, he is already perceived by the radical left as a supporter of the right. The idea that he could be equally liked by both Democrats and Republicans, or occupy some middle political ground, does not match reality,” Vance said.
It should be recalled that on July 5, Elon Musk announced the creation of the “America” party in the United States.
