Azerbaijan completes 67% of construction and installation work on the Horadiz-Aghbend railway line

Restoration work on the railway infrastructure in the territories liberated from occupation is ongoing, APA-Economics reports citing Azerbaijan Railways CJSC.

According to the information, 84% of the design work and 67% of the construction and installation work on the Horadiz-Aghbend railway line have been completed. Currently, earthworks and the construction of engineering structures are underway on the 75-106 km section of the line.

It is noted that within the framework of the project, the construction of Yukhari Marjanli, Shukurbeyli, Soltanli, Gumlag, Hakari, Minjivan, Bartaz, and Aghbend stations is planned. In addition, along the railway line, the construction of 40 bridges, 26 road crossings, 4 tunnels, 3 galleries, retaining walls – a total of 553 engineering structures – will be carried out.
