“It is no coincidence that today Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev, is holding important meetings in the United States,” Samad Seyidov, Chairman of the International Relations and Interparliamentary Relations Committee of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis (Parliament), said during a committee session on Wednesday, APA reports.
Seyidov expressed hope for the development of interparliamentary relations between Azerbaijan and the United States. “Various events will be held during the autumn session to expand ties between the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan and the US Congress. Today, Azerbaijan-US relations are entering a new stage,” he added.
