Armenian PM says attempts made to undermine Washington peace agreement

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated in parliament during government hour that there have been attempts to undermine the peace agreement reached in Washington on August 8, APA reports.

According to Pashinyan, the process of resolving the Karabakh conflict has been ongoing since 1994, but during negotiations, no official document other than the draft declaration has ever been on the table.

“The text of the declaration has been signed. This is not part of many people’s agenda. They need to undermine peace. Such forces exist both in Armenia and nearby, as well as farther away,” Pashinyan said.
