Reconstruction of Seyidbeyli village in Khojaly progressing, more homes to be ready by 2026

A media tour has been organized to the village of Seyidbeyli in the Khojaly district, APA's local bureau reports.

Afat Telmanqizi, Head of the Public Relations Department of the Reconstruction, Construction, and Management Service in Khankendi city, Aghdara, and Khojaly districts, stated that there are 140 houses in Seyidbeyli village, of which 22 are uninhabitable and 118 are partially habitable. So far, 10 houses have been restored. By the end of this year, 44 more houses will be ready for use, and in 2026, an additional 64 houses will be completed. To date, 9 families (31 people) have relocated to the village.

A 30-kilometer-long existing power line in the village has been restored, two transformers have been installed, and metering work has started. Main gas pipelines have been laid, a 5.7-kilometer-long existing gas line, as well as a water reservoir and an artesian well, have been restored, and the drinking water network has been rebuilt. A flag square has been established in the village, and internal village roads have been asphalted.

Note that Seyidbeyli village came under Azerbaijan’s control in September 2023 during the anti-terror operation carried out by our Armed Forces.

The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, visited Seyidbeyli village in the Khojaly district on September 15.
