On December 20, the relocation convoy sent to their native land arrived in the Karkijahan settlement of Khankendi city, APA reports.
At this phase, the keys to apartments were handed over to 30 families comprising 115 people who were relocated.
Representatives of the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Khankendi city, as well as in the Aghdara and Khojaly districts, and representatives of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons attended the ceremony.

On December 20, the first relocation convoy to the Karkijahan settlement of Khankendi city was sent, APA reports.
In accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, the Great Return to the liberated territories continues.
Those moving to the Karkijahan settlement of Khankendi city are families temporarily residing in various parts of the country, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.
In this phase, 30 families – totaling 115 people – were relocated to the Karkijahan settlement of Khankendi city. The returning residents expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive state care they received. They also expressed their gratitude to the brave Azerbaijani Army, our heroic soldiers and officers, who liberated our lands from occupation, and prayed for mercy for our martyrs who lost their lives on this path.
