US State Department has approved the sale of $185 million worth of spare parts for military equipment to Ukraine

The US State Department has approved the potential sale of military equipment parts to Ukraine in the amount of $185 million. This was announced on February 6 by the Agency for Cooperation in the Field of Defense Security on its website, APA reports.

After the deal was approved, the Pentagon acknowledged that Kiev needed outside help to maintain American military equipment and other assets.

According to the agency's assessment, the supplies will allegedly have a direct impact on the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). At the same time, the deal will not change the existing balance of power in the region.
