Following the eruption of the Shiveluch volcano in the Kamchatka Territory of Russia, volcanic ash is likely to fall on settlements in the Tigil municipal district, APA reports, citing the Kamchatka Main Directorate of Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations.
It was noted that ash emission from the Shiveluch volcano was observed on Saturday morning, with the height of the eruption column reaching 10.5 kilometers.
