Conscripts called up for compulsory military service in Russia will not be involved in carrying out tasks related to the Special Military Operation, said Deputy Head of the Main Organizational and Mobilization Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Vice Admiral Vladimir Tsimlyansky, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, in accordance with the Federal Law “On Military Duty and Military Service,” the conscription of citizens for military service is carried out throughout the calendar year, from January 1 to December 31.
