Fourth earthquake strikes Caspian Sea

An earthquake has occurred in the Caspian Sea, the Earthquake Research Bureau of the Republican Seismological Service Center under the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences told APA.

The quake was recorded at 18:11 local time.

The underground tremor had a magnitude of 3.5 and occurred at a depth of 51 km.

Note that earthquakes were also recorded earlier today in the Caspian Sea at 13:05, 13:10, and 13:21 local time. The first quake was felt at an intensity of 3–4 in Lankaran, Yardimli, Lerik, Astara, Jalilabad, and Neftchala.
