Zelenskyy: Without Ukraine and Türkiye, Europe cannot be compared to Russia

If the United States is indeed considering withdrawing from NATO, Europe’s security could be strengthened by the United Kingdom, Ukraine, Türkiye, and Norway, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an interview with “The Rest Is Politics” podcast, APA reports.

“The United Kingdom, Ukraine, Türkiye, and Norway. These are four strong countries that are part of Europe. The armies of the United Kingdom, Ukraine, and Türkiye together are stronger than Russia. Without Ukraine and Türkiye, Europe cannot be compared to Russia. With these four countries, it is possible to control the seas, have protected airspace, and possess the largest land forces,” he said.

The Ukrainian leader emphasized that only with the accession of these countries to the EU can Europe maintain its security and independence against Russia.

“Security comes first, and the economy comes second,” Zelenskyy noted.
