In January–March of this year, 12.6 billion cubic meters of natural gas were produced in Azerbaijan, which is equal to last year’s figure, the Ministry of Energy told APA-Economics.
In January-March 2026, the country produced 12.6 bcm of natural gas. Of the total gas output, 3.5 bcm came from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field, 6.9 bcm from Shah Deniz, 0.4 bcm from the Absheron field, and 1.8 bcm from SOCAR.
During this period, gas exports amounted to 6.5 bcm. Of this, 3 bcm were exported to Europe, 2.4 bcm to Türkiye (including 1.5 bcm via TANAP), 0.8 bcm to Georgia, and 0.3bcmto Syria.
