The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has announced its forecast for average daily global oil demand for 2026–2027, APA-Economics reports, citing the monthly report of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
According to the report, average daily global oil demand will reach 107.87 million barrels next year (forecast unchanged), which is 1.34 million barrels more than the forecast for 2026.
According to the forecast, this year, the mentioned indicator is expected to be 106.53 million barrels (forecast unchanged), which is 1.38 million barrels more compared to 2025 (105.15 million barrels).
Recall that in 2024, average daily global oil demand amounted to 103.84 million barrels.
