Yesterday, President Ilham Aliyev’s participation in the European Political Community summit is proof of the formation of a new atmosphere between Armenia and Azerbaijan, said President of the European Council António Costa at a joint briefing with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen on the results of the Armenia–EU summit held in Yerevan, APA reports.
He noted that the European Union will continue to support regional peace and normalization processes.
“A stable and prosperous South Caucasus is the foundation of Armenia’s future, and the European Union will continue to support regional peace and normalization processes,” Costa added.
