Real peace and security have been established in the South Caucasus. Azerbaijan is precisely the main guarantor of this stability, said Chairman of the Board of the Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center) Farid Shafiyev at a roundtable held at the center today.
Touching upon the complex geopolitical situation in the region, Farid Shafiyev stated that wars are currently ongoing both in the northern and southern directions, and how these conflicts will end still remains uncertain.
The AIR Center chairman emphasized that the situation around Iran remains tense.
According to him, under such conditions, some forces are acting against the new realities formed in the region.
Farid Shafiyev noted that these pressures do not stem from only one direction.
“Unfortunately, we are also witnessing certain activities against Azerbaijan from Europe,” he added.
