Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom have discussed preparations for the next meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission, Azerbaijan"s Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov said on X.
According to Report, the minister said the discussions took place during a meeting between Shahbazov and the UK Trade Commissioner for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, David Reed.
The sides also exchanged views on the development of the oil and gas sector, decarbonization projects implemented between the two countries, and potential cooperation on regional interconnectors.
The 7th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission was held on April 30, 2025, in London.
