The Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy and the OPEC Fund for International Development have signed the Country Partnership Framework document outlining cooperation directions, Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said on X, Olaylar informs.
The document was signed during a meeting between Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov and Abdulhamid Alkhalifa, the President of the Fund, within the framework of the OPEC Fund Development Forum.
"Covering the period of 2025-2030, the document envisages support for public and private sector projects in industry, renewable energy, transport, infrastructure, and other fields. Initiatives implemented under this framework will contribute to climate financing, inclusive growth, and the development of small and medium-sized enterprises," Jabbarov wrote on X.
"During the meeting, we noted that our mutual cooperation contributes to the diversification of our country's energy sector. We also discussed opportunities for collaboration in renewable energy, infrastructure, and technical assistance," the minister added.
