Minister of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan held a meeting with delegation from Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan

A delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard, Major General Ansagan Baltabekov, has visited Azerbaijan, Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told APA.

It was stated that the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Vilayat Eyvazov, met with the delegation.

During the meeting, Vilayat Eyvazov stated that, in line with the strategy determined by the heads of both states, the cooperation and effective partnership between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan have further deepened. He emphasized that the bilateral relations—particularly joint efforts in combating transnational organized crime, the exchange of advanced experience and operational information, as well as the established legal and regulatory framework—serve the interests of our peoples and states and contribute to ensuring security in the region.

Major General Ansagan Baltabekov expressed his gratitude for the sincere meeting and warm hospitality, noting that the institution he represents is interested in further expanding cooperation and will spare no effort in this direction.

During the meeting, a detailed exchange of views was also held on a number of other issues of mutual interest.

As part of the visit, the Kazakh guests became acquainted with the activities of the Internal Troops and police authorities.
