Azerbaijan will carry out research on artificial rain technology in three stages between 2025 and 2027, the State Water Resources Agency of Azerbaijan told APA-Economics during Baku Water Week.
According to the agency, in 2025, technical and economic feasibility studies and project documentation for the technology will be prepared. In 2026, pilot projects will be conducted, and suitable areas for implementation identified. By 2027, one pilot artificial rain project is planned to be executed.
