Each round of negotiations on Ukraine is a step toward a settlement that takes into account Russia’s interests, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, every round of talks on Ukraine brings a settlement closer.
“Perhaps each round of negotiations is indeed a step toward finding a settlement formula, and for us, first and foremost, it is a formula that takes our interests into account,” the Kremlin spokesperson said while answering a question on whether the sides are approaching a resolution.
“We hope for the continuation of the United States’ good offices to facilitate the settlement. We remain open to negotiations,” Peskov added.
