Thirty-seven people were killed in an attack on a location where US military officers were gathered in the UAE, said Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in a statement, Mehr reports.
The statement noted that as a result of an attack carried out yesterday by the IRGC Navy on a secret meeting place of American officers in the UAE, 37 people were killed, and many others were hospitalized with injuries.
It was also reported that since the morning, the Naval Forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have carried out five large-scale operations, during which US military facilities in the UAE, Bahrain, and Kuwait were targeted.
It was stated that earlier this morning, a drone attack targeted the “Abraham Lincoln” carrier strike group in the northern Indian Ocean, forcing the group to retreat into deeper waters.
The IRGC statement also emphasized that the Strait of Hormuz is under full control.
