The A-10 Warthog attack aircraft crashed near the Strait of Hormuz around the same time an F-15E fighter jet was shot down over Iran. According to the newspaper, the A-10 pilot was rescued safely. In the incident involving the F-15E, one crew member was rescued; the search for the second pilot is ongoing.
