OPEC discloses daily oil production figures in Azerbaijan in March

In March of this year, Azerbaijan’s average daily crude oil production stood at 457,000 barrels, APA-Economics reports, citing the monthly report of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).

The figure recorded in February of this year was 458 thousand barrels.

According to the data, the indicator, recorded in the first quarter of the current year, amounted to 457,000 barrels, which is 9,000 barrels less compared to the first quarter of last year (466,000 barrels).

It is reported that in 2025, Azerbaijan’s average daily crude oil production amounted to 461,000 barrels, which is 20,000 barrels less compared to the 2024 figure.

Recall that Azerbaijan is a participant in the OPEC+ agreement. OPEC+ is an initiative covering the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and non-OPEC countries to reduce oil production (in order to balance the market – ed.).

Note that according to the agreement reached by OPEC+ ministers, Azerbaijan’s production quota until the end of 2026 is set at 551,000 barrels per day. Thus, Azerbaijan lagged behind the OPEC+ quota by 94,000 barrels in March and in the first quarter of the current year.
