The organization of WUF13 in Baku is an indication of the high appreciation by the international community of Azerbaijan’s achievements in the field of urban planning, Executive Director of MEDIA, Ahmad Ismayilov, said during the opening ceremony of the 3rd Forum titled “Public processes in the media sphere”, APA reports.
He noted that the “Smart City” and “Smart Village” projects implemented in the liberated territories are fundamentally transforming the face of Karabakh and East Zangezur:
“Today, the revival of Karabakh is not only the restoration of a region, but also a clear demonstration of Azerbaijan’s intellectual and economic strength, as well as its contribution to modern urban development processes. Every new building rising in Shusha, Aghdam, and Fuzuli symbolizes both our commitment to historical heritage and our vision for the future.”
According to Ahmad Ismayilov, the effective communication model tested during COP29 proved that the unity of state, media, and society makes it possible to successfully overcome any global challenge.
“Similar achievements will be repeated during WUF13, and we will reach even greater professional success,” he added.
