A central fixture of the XXX round of the Azerbaijan Premier League saw Qarabag FK secure a 2–1 victory over Turan Tovuz.
The two sides, both competing for second place in the standings, faced off at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium. The match ended with the Agdam based club taking all three points.
Following the result, Qarabag hold second place in the table with 62 points, while Turan Tovuz remain third with 56 points.
In other matches of the round, Kapaz PFK defeated Sumgayit FK 2–1, Zira FK edged past Gabala FK 1–0, and Sabah FC claimed a 3–0 win over Shamakhi FK. Imishli FK also secured victory against Araz Nakhchivan PFK.
The round will conclude on May 5 with the match between Karvan Yevlakh and Neftchi PFK
