Pashinyan: I have no doubt that roads with Azerbaijan will be fully opened

“It is very important that we fully open the roads for each other with Azerbaijan, as well as open the borders with Türkiye, and I have no doubt that this will happen,” Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a joint briefing in Yerevan with President of the European Council Antonio Costa and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen following the Armenia-EU summit, APA reports.

The Prime Minister stated that the full opening of communications is important in terms of the free movement of people and goods, as well as the development of trade, and in this regard, agreements on cooperation in relevant areas will need to be concluded.

“For example, in the field of transport, we are already cooperating today without any separate agreement. Of course, it is extremely important that we fully open the roads for each other, as well as open the border with Türkiye. I have no doubt that this will happen,” he said.
