The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy issued a statement on Tuesday, warning all ships and vessels intending to cross the Strait of Hormuz to do so through routes previously authorized by Tehran, APA reports.
"Any deviation of ships to other routes is considered unsafe, and will be met with a decisive response from the Revolutionary Guards Navy," the guard stressed.
