The next consular consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye were held in Ankara on May 12, the Azerbaijan MFA told APA.
The Azerbaijani delegation at the consultations was led by Emil Safarov, Head of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while the Turkish delegation was led by Gulsum Erkul, Director General for Consular Affairs and Citizens Living Abroad at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye.
The meetings were also attended by employees of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Prosecutor General's Office, and, from the Turkish side, the Ministry of Justice, Internal Affairs, and other relevant agencies of the Republic of Türkiye.
