The “Agreement between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Latvia on cooperation” has been approved, APA reports.
President Ilham Aliyev signed the relevant decree.
According to the decree, after the agreement enters into force, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan must ensure the implementation of its provisions, while the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan must send a notification to the Government of Latvia regarding the completion of the domestic procedures required for the agreement’s entry into force.
It should be noted that the agreement was signed in Baku on February 15, 2026.
