The Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan and the International Telecommunication Union on the establishment of an ITU Regional Acceleration Center has been approved, APA reports.
President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, signed the relevant decree in this regard.
The agreement was signed on October 30, 2025, in Geneva and on November 14 in Baku.
According to the decree, after the agreement enters into force, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan must ensure the implementation of its provisions, while the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan must send a notification to the International Telecommunication Union on the completion of the necessary domestic procedures required for the agreement to enter into force.
