Azerbaijani MES extinguished fire in workshop in Baku, save 3 people from under debris - VIDEO-UPDATED 3

A fire that happened in a workshop located in Binagadi District, Baku City, was extinguished by the forces of the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, the Ministry told APA.

Necessary and urgent measures are underway by the forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan in connection with eliminating the consequences of the fire-explosion incident that took place on January 15 in a workshop in Binagadi District, Baku City, the Ministry told APA.

According to the information, 3 people were saved and pulled out alive under the debris and they were handed over to the emergency medical team, as well as, the citizens in the workshop and nearby were evacuated.

Currently, the search and rescue operation continues.

According to the latest information, 24 people were injured.
