The UK government is preparing a plan to evacuate up to 300 critically ill children from the Gaza Strip for treatment in state hospitals, APA reports citing The Sunday Times.
According to the information, the full details of the program will be officially announced in the coming weeks.
The project is being jointly coordinated by UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, Home Secretary Yvette Cooper, and Health Secretary Wes Streeting.
It is noted that each child will be brought to the UK accompanied by one of their parents.
