On the night of August 17, the “112” hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received information about a fire that had broken out on the roof of the administrative building of the State Border Service Headquarters in Baku’s Sabail district. Emergency forces of the State Fire Protection and Special Risky Rescue Services of the Ministry were immediately dispatched to the scene, APA reports citing the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Thanks to the prompt intervention of firefighters, the blaze on the building’s roof was extinguished in a short time before it could spread further.
No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
