Advisor to the Armenian Defense Minister has resigned, APA reports, citing Armenian press.

Advisor to the Defense Minister, Major General Artak Tonoyan, has resigned from his post.

It should be noted that earlier, information had been spread about the arrest of Artashes Tonoyan, the son of Artak Tonoyan, on charges of murder.

Rustam Stepanyan, the son of one of Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan’s advisers, has been arrested, APA reports, citing Armenian media.

The son of the Armenian Minister of Defense’s adviser, Artashes Tonoyan, has been arrested.

He was detained in connection with the criminal case involving the murder of 24-year-old Mamikon D., who was killed near the house of Rustam Stepanyan (known in the criminal world as “Thick Rustam”).

It was noted that three citizens have been involved in the investigation of this case, and arrest warrants have been issued for them.

On August 15, 24-year-old Mamikon D. was found injured in the village of Proshyan. Although he was taken to the hospital, doctors could not save his life.

It is stated that the murdered Mamikon D. was a 24-year-old young man with no connection to the criminal world. The reason for his presence at the scene and how he was injured remain unknown.
