The process of appointing a new head of the European Union Delegation to Azerbaijan has begun, said Anitta Hipper, Spokesperson for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the European Union, in response to APA's inquiry.
According to her, information will be provided on the appointment of a new EU representative to Azerbaijan after official approval from the host country (Azerbaijan).
It should be noted that the term of office of the European Union Representative to Azerbaijan, Peter Michalko, has expired.
