Vucic: Foreign services spent $4 billion on color revolution in Serbia

The secret services of several countries are financing the protests in Serbia, and $4 billion was spent on this, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said, APA reports, citing fakti.bg.

„$4 billion was spent on the collapse of the state. The main organizer of the color revolutions comes from outside. These are employees of different secret services, they are doing this from several countries,” Vucic said in an interview with TV Informer.

He explained that he was forced to remain silent because it would violate Serbia’s neutrality towards potential instigators of the protests, but noted: “These countries know that we are aware of what they are doing.”

Vucic had previously reported that 9,380 people had taken part in protests across the country on September 5, of which more than 7,000 had gathered in Novi Sad. According to him, the most serious incidents occurred there: a group of people in balaclavas tried to occupy the premises of the philosophy faculty of the local university, but the police prevented this attempt.

Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabić, commenting on the events, said that European officials not only support, but also personally participate in uncoordinated actions. She noted the presence in Novi Sad of MEP Rasmus Nordqvist from Denmark and the co-chair of the European Green Party Voula Tsetsi from Greece, calling their statements about the rule of law, while at the same time supporting anarchic actions in Serbia, "hypocrisy".
