A delegation led by the First Deputy Minister of Defense – Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev, who is on an official visit to the Republic of Belarus, visited the grave of the National Hero of Azerbaijan, Major Anatoly Nikolayevich Davidovich, in the city of Slutsk and paid tribute to his memory, the Ministry of Defense told APA.
Later, Colonel General Valiyev visited the home of the National Hero’s mother, Kima Davidovich, and inquired about her well-being. It was noted that the heroism of Major Davidovich further strengthened the friendly and fraternal relations between the peoples of Azerbaijan and Belarus, and that his memory is always honored with respect in both countries.
Mother of the National Hero expressed her gratitude to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the leadership of the Ministry of Defense for honoring her son’s memory and for the attention and care shown to her.
