Azerbaijani journalists visit Presidential School and Mamun Khorezm Academy in Khiva -PHOTO

As part of the visit of Azerbaijani media representatives to Uzbekistan, the journalists visited the Presidential School and the Mamun Khorezm Academy located in the city of Khiva,  APA’s correspondent dispatched to Khiva reports.

The journalists were given detailed information about the teaching system, educational programs, innovative teaching methods, and the conditions created for the development of students at the Presidential School, which is designed for gifted children.

It was noted that the Presidential School was established in 2019 in Uzbekistan for the purpose of identifying gifted children and developing their scientific, technological, and creative potential.

The Azerbaijani media representatives toured classrooms, laboratories, robotics, and STEAM training centers and got acquainted with the projects prepared by the students.

The media representatives also got acquainted with the history, activities, and educational programs of the Mamun Khorezm Academy, a scientific research institution. The academy’s leadership provided the journalists with detailed information about projects carried out in the field of education, scientific research activities, and the opportunities for students’ development.

It should be noted that the visit is being carried out within the framework of the “Roadmap for the Development of Cooperation in the Field of Media between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.”

The purpose of the visit is to strengthen the exchange of experience in the field of education between the two countries and to present Uzbekistan’s modern education model and the work of its research institutions to the Azerbaijani public.
