Azerbaijan relocates 21 families to Girmizi Bazar in Khojavand district, families receive house keys -UPDATED

Today, the families relocated to the town of Girmizi Bazar in Khojavend were handed the keys to their homes, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports. 

Upon their arrival, ANAMA officials provided returning residents with detailed information about the dangers posed by mines and unexploded ordnance. Families were advised to avoid unfamiliar objects and report any such findings to the relevant authorities.

The key handover ceremony in Girmizi Bazar was attended by representatives of the Presidential Special Representative Offices in Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand districts, the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, and other officials.

The residents received their keys and settled into their homes.

Note that at this stage, 21 families — a total of 89 people — were relocated to Girmizi Bazar. These families had previously been temporarily settled in dormitories, sanatoriums, pioneer camps, unfinished buildings, and administrative facilities across various regions of the country. All necessary conditions have been created for them to settle into their homes.

The next resettlement convoy has arrived in the  Girmizi Bazar settlement of Khojavend, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports.

The relocated families are those who had been temporarily settled in various parts of the country, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.

At this phase, 21 families — 89 people — have been resettled in the Girmizi Bazar settlement.
