Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has sent a delegation to Cairo to negotiate the return of the body of the last remaining Israeli hostage from the Gaza Strip, Prime Minister's Office announced, APA reports.
The delegation arrived in the Egyptian capital on the morning of December 4, led by the coordinator for prisoners and missing persons affairs, retired Brigadier General Gal Hirsh. The delegation included representatives of the Israeli army, the General Security Service, and the Mossad intelligence agency.
"The delegation held talks with mediators to secure the immediate return of the last deceased hostage, Staff Sergeant Rana Gwili. <...> Following the talks, an agreement was reached on intensive and immediate efforts to complete the return of all hostages," the office stated.
