Damage caused by natural disasters in France amounted to €5.2 billion in 2025, France Assureurs reports.
According to the information, a significant portion of the total damage was related to hailstorms.
The damage caused by storms “Nils” and “Pedro” is estimated at €1.1 billion.
It is also noted that 43% of total losses were related to hail events. Hail was observed for a total of 105 days in 2025.
