Personnel of the Turkish Armed Forces serving in Iraq’s capital Baghdad have been evacuated, said Türkiye’s Ministry of National Defense in a statement, APA’s Türkiye bureau reports.
According to the information, the evacuation of Turkish military personnel serving in Baghdad has been successfully completed.
“NATO officials have decided to evacuate the mission in Iraq, taking into account the events in our region,” the ministry said in a statement.
