Russia accuses Ukraine of violating “Easter ceasefire”

A Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle damaged a Rosneft fuel station in the city of Lgov in Russia’s Kursk region during the ceasefire, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.

It was noted that during the ceasefire, the intensity of fire and combat operations along the entire front line was reduced at noon: “The Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out 694 attacks on the positions of Russian troops using artillery, multiple launch rocket systems and tanks during the ceasefire. Eleven Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed outside the airspace of the Belgorod and Kursk regions. In total, 6,558 ceasefire violations were recorded by Kyiv.

Russian troops strictly observed the ceasefire and remained in their previously occupied positions. After the end of the ceasefire, the Armed Forces of Russia continued their special military operations.”

It should be noted that a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine was declared from April 11 until the end of April 12 on the occasion of the Easter holiday.
