Russia has revoked 8,300 residence permits (VNJ) issued to foreigners since the beginning of 2026, APA’s Moscow bureau reports, citing the Russian Security Council.
It was noted that this is 90 percent more than the number of residence permits revoked last year.
The Security Council also stated that 3,300 foreigners who share traditional values have applied for temporary residence in Russia, and positive decisions have been made for 3,000 of them.
