On May 10, the WUF13 Festival was held among residents and guests of the city of Khankendi to raise awareness about the Thirteenth Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), the WUF13 Operating Company told APA.
The festival was attended by Sabuhi Gahramanov, deputy special representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the city of Khankendi and the Aghdara and Khojaly districts, other officials, as well as members of the public.
Within the framework of the public program, topics such as sustainable urban development, inclusive urban environment, innovative urban solutions, and cities of the future were presented to a broad audience through interactive activities, educational games, presentations, and public discussions.
As part of the interactive program held at Victory Square with the participation of nearly 8,000 people, competitions were organized based on questions related to WUF13 and urban development topics.
Participants who gave correct answers were presented with gifts.
