A flag-raising ceremony was held within the framework of WUF13, APA reports.
During the ceremony, the national flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the flag of the United Nations were raised accompanied by an orchestra performance.
The flag-raising ceremony was attended by Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture Anar Guliyev and Executive Director of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) Anacláudia Rossbach.
