In the era of artificial intelligence and other new concepts, language faces various pressures and threats, Deputy Minister of Science and Education of Azerbaijan Firudin Gurbanov said at the opening ceremony of the republican conference "Mother Tongue: Identity and Future" held with the participation of youth.
Olaylar quotes him as saying language is one of the main attributes of statehood:
"School education plays a key role in the preservation and development of languages. Family and parents are the primary source in this direction. The duty of a parent is to instill the richness of the mother tongue in children."
The deputy minister concluded that language is the greatest tool that preserves and develops the material and spiritual heritage of every nation.
