Azerbaijan will be represented at the 28th Congress of the Universal Postal Union (UPU), which will be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from September 7 to 19, Azerpost LLC told APA-Economics.
According to the information, a preparatory event for the congress was held in Baku.
At the preparatory event, Azerpost LLC was represented by Isi Mustafayev, Acting Chairman of the Board, and board member Elgun Rasulov.
It was noted that Azerbaijan’s candidacy for the UPU’s Council of Administration and Postal Operations Council for 2026-2029 has been submitted.
At the congress, Azerbaijan’s candidacy for the organization’s Council of Administration as well as the Postal Operations Council will be considered.
