As reported earlier, Mutvali Shikhlinski, the son of Shahin Shikhlinski, the leader of the Azerbaijani diaspora in Yekaterinburg, has been detained and taken to the Investigative Committee, APA’s Russia bureau reports.
Mutvali is currently being questioned at the Investigative Committee, where he is providing an explanation regarding the incident that occurred on July 1 during his detention in front of Baku Plaza.
A criminal case has also been launched against Mutvali Shikhlinski’s father, Shahin Shikhlinski. It has been noted that he is facing charges under Article 318 of the Criminal Code (Use of violence against a representative of authority) in Moscow.

According to the information, he is currently being detained for two days under Article 91 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

Mutveli Shikhlinsky, the son of the head of the Azerbaijani diaspora, has been detained in Yekaterinburg, APA reports citing a source from "Ura.ru".
"According to preliminary information, Mutveli was detained two hours ago. It is planned to place him in a temporary detention center. Later, an arrest warrant will be issued for him," the source said.
According to RBK, Mutveli Shikhlinsky has been detained and is currently being interrogated. It is not yet known under what article he is charged.
